It obviously eventually became the Coronado but I don't know if any were sold as 'acoustic-electric'.
The earliest Coronados had that tailpiece and bridge, though.
This site has some info and pictures. The guitar on the right of the bottom advert has the toggle switch down by the knobs and the headstock looks the same too.

Thanks! That acoustic electric had dot inlays on the neck like the Coronado one.Maybe that was the first prototype.

I've never heard of it before. There was also a prototype deep body Coronado, though I don't know if it was pre-production or a trial for a later alternative option. It's hard to tell but it looks like the acoustic electric has the chequered binding.

Kinda looks like the top is flat in those pics but I can't tell for sure.

It's certainly unusual. All the one pickup models had the dots, but none had the binding on the neck. Plus that one has two pickups.
