At a shop in Richmond. It's remarkably clean for it's age. I'd guess it's from the late 50s or early 60s. Unfortunately the pickguard is missing. Klusons! Too bad they arent the slot heads we all love so much. Obviously one of the higher end Old Kraftsmans, as it has real binding on the front and back of the body as well as the neck. Really great playing guitar.

Wow. That's really beautiful. I've been wanting another archtop lately.
I had an old redburst Harmony Monterey for years. Wish I had kept it but I traded it in on something
I really needed. Can't remember what it was but I couldn't live without it at the time.

Thanks! This is the first old archtop I've owned. I'm in love. Old 30s-60s archtops are so cheap to buy, I'm afraid I may start hoarding them.

some of those old archtops have a cool "booming" sound to them, not sure if it just construction or age. either way, that thing is pretty awesome

Lovely.

I have a cracked Epi. It sounds like a banjo almost.
