I got this Bently Telecaster at a pawn shop near my house today for $50.

I got it because it was only $50 and thought it was kinda cool.

Thanks for the post. I think this guitar was made in the early 80s. The bridge is a top loader and it measures 3 and 7/8" high and 3 and 1/4" wide.

I got it setup with new strings. My friend pulled the bridge and reseated the pickup. Now it plays great and the pickups sound really nice.

No offence, I like the look of this guitar, but coudn't help notice it is made of plywood. It's equipped with JV pickups that are famous for their good quality and sound. You said it sounds good, so now my belief that wood doesn't add any colouring to the sound of electric guitar has grown more.

By the way, there is late 80's Japanese Squier on ebay that has the same bridge

Is the Lady Luck brand from the same factory? I remember seeing a picture of a flower one like that Series 10 in the 1990s.

Thanks,It cold be. I think they were both made in Korea. Here Is a Series 10 "Flowercaster" a friend on the telecaster forum has.He said his cousin found it at a tag sale and gave it to him as a Christmas gift.

Would love one of those. I love Telcasters.

Rad, nice to see another Bently around here. Is it a chunky or thin neck? No clue on the lady luck guitars, a small bit of research tells me that they were based in Cary, IL while Bently was a budget guitar name by the St Louis Music Corp.

I wish those flower print teles had more pattern on them, they seem to have too much negative space compared to Seim's. Of course tiny picture and big pictures probably create some differences, and there was probably a lot of randomization with the pattern.

I think my "Blue Period" was in 2011.

That's pretty close to this Fender color/pattern.
