Jack plugs

Post by NickS »

I couldn't find a really good picture of the Amphenol slim right-angled jack plug ACMP_RN1. So I took one.

The cable clamp as you can see is three metal fingers; the back shell has a rubbery strain relief but that's all it is; there's no clamshell clamp like on the Neutrik.

I said in October 2012: "Ningbo Neutrik as used by Stagg but it says Yongsheng on the plastic lid and the cable clamp is the usual pair of metal fingers. Nice cast base with the plastic lid retained by what looks like a Neutrik compression clamp screw but ain't. Neutrik say they have a manufacturing facility in Ningbo, China. Ningbo Neutrik say they've used the brand name Yongsheng for 30 years and these products include NY in the part number."

REAN appears to be the new name and I expect the plastic cover no longer says "Yongsheng". REAN NYS207-x appears identical but only appears in the catalogue in black and red.
