Great little amp... but the X2 has had some reliability problems. Its predessor the XD has a better rating, does the same things, and can be readily found...... I found mine 'new out of the box' sitting in a music store's fron display window just outside Denver, CO about 6 months ago. Saved some money too. I think its a great little kick around amp.

Love my Vibro Champ XD to pieces, one of the smartest amp purchases I've ever made. Never tried the Super Champ variants.

In terms of getting classic sounds I wasn't nearly as impressed with the Mustangs I've tried compared to the VCXD; the models seemed a lot more sterile and unresponsive... but they have so many other applications (and are so much cheaper) that they're sort of in a different class of product which they fulfill really well. The XD amps don't even have a means for silent practice let alone USB capabilities and so on.

I thought you could get USB and fuse connectivity, the little desktop programme where you can do deep editing?

Pretty sure the Super Champ X2 has that. Paul_ seems to have a different amp though.

that sucks. my usb cable has also been kicked out of the port so many times the cable is all bent and the port is slightly worse for wear. just about connects to fuse though
