Dillion SG Special $249

Post by sunshiner »

I've never thought Dilion makes SG special, though I've seen SG junior copies.

Yep, though looks like recent Epi reissue. I wonder what neck profile it has

I used to hate those things, especially the pinched waist and that awkward bulge beneath but in the right color they've grown on me. Here's my favorite, from the Guitarz Blog, I hope they don't mind, I did credit them

Image

he described it like it was some awful Russian thing, though it was a stock Gibson product ( SG 200? 400?), not in that color, like it was coated in in motor oil, all grungy n shit. almost bought a cheap copy so I could do one myself. will do one day when my current projects are done ( Haha, never) That big bevel on the outside curves helps a lot with what I dislike about them.

This looks simple and effective. I also like the look of SG Melody Makers, there's something with the guard and white pickups, and the look of SG Juniors.

The guitarist in Humanfly played one similar, it is/was pretty rad looking! No bridge pickup, which is interesting on an SG...

Wow, it looks great, too bad about that passive pick up though. Not a fan of wood tone electrics either, maybe some classic Jag color like burgundy mist, or even the Gibson red. Thank you, it's nice to know they exist.

Just checked out those Vipers, I didn't see too much scumbaggery, the black with the white pick guard looks class.

They moved the lower strap button also. I wonder how she balances?
