I got this from that sweet Musician's Friend sale for like $279. It is a great guitar. Tuners are smooth. It is light weight and sounds great. The pots move smooth and the action is nice and low with no buzz. The neck is comfy and overall I am really impressed with it. My only P 90 guitar.
It hangs well with my other Jaguars and holds its own for sure.

Did I miss the memo on that rad white on white Cyclone II looking thing?
What's the story there?

I've been fairly tempted by these... in concept at least. My local shop almost never gets interesting instruments in, so I've never actually seen one
How are the P90s in these?

It is one I did custom. I bought it here, stripped it and painted it white and such. Had a custom guard made for it and three custom strat pickups. The bottom two are wired as a humbucker so it still functions pretty much the same. One of my favorite custom jobs.
For the p90s in this, they are really nice. All three positions have a good sound. Not noises and have a bit of bite to them. Bridge sounds very old school like the song "House of the Rising Sun."
By chance have you taken a glance under the pickguard for routing details? Curious if they have mildly swimming pool'd things out enough for Jazzo pickups or anything of the sort...

I always wanted one of these, they look just like a P-90 Jag that Kim Gordon uses on a few songs.

edit: holy shit it's in the thumbnail, perfect.

Nice!
I haven't checked under the hood yet. I suppose now is an easy enough time to do that.

i think theyv got the minimal route you could have.
i did a setup on my mates BT Jag, n put the strings under the tailpiece (threaded from in front), n got quite a bit more sustain n density out of it. worth a go.

I would guess that is true. If they did routing by hand, I could see swimming pool being there, but with cnc programs, I am guessing it is just what has to be there like the other Blacktops.

Nice buy! I didn't know they made P90 jags without the stupid strat jack. Needs moar Bigsby though. Or one of those GFS X-trem things.

Took the tape off up to the nut so when I clear coat it will help transition where the red line is.
I am thinking this for the headstock. The stock one is so boring, but I also wanted to do something different than a regular Jag logo as well since there is a lot about this guitar that is not Jaguar like. This is what I came up with. I like the Jazzy swirls and since it doesn't have a tremolo, I put in one of my favorite Anime quotes.
