Line 6 Echo Park crapping out

Post by NickS »

My son's Line 6 Echo Park has got a bit flakey. Not only does it occasionally have issues with the tap tempo aspect (light touch on the foot pedal flap), it's now started randomly changing the echo mode. It reminds me of the Line 6 Flextone duo, which randomly changes the amp model on me. Anyway... so the Echo Park is discontinued but he's asked for one for Christmas. Fortunately Promenade Music have some old stock so that's sorted.

I was disappointed to find the Line 6 M5 doesn't do all the models that the Echo Park does.

Maybe; the EM600 looks as though it has all the features but I don't know about max delay (2.5 sec on the Echo Park, only 2.0 on the DD600 and not spec'ed for the EM600).
