So I have an idea about building a black strat (im an interesting guy).
And I want to buy a body -
"Genuine Fender" one
or
Cheaper Squier one
What are the difference, are there any ? The same necks would fit ? And the same bridges, am I right ?
Maybe You know a cheaper black strat body
(By the way
this would be the neck I have intended ,
this would be the bridge/tremolo )
I would be happy about any advice !

I have owned both squier and fender of the same guitars. As for necks, there is usually a pretty significant difference unless you buy a nice classic vibe squier. And as for fitting they should be pretty close. You might have to do some slight modifying to the neck pocket. As for bodies... to me they aren't much different. Except maybe the finish is usually thinner on a squier. And it all depends on what wood you like if that matters. Maybe try a GFS body? They are really cheap and I have heard plenty of good things from them. $49.99 for a black strat body figured paulownia wood. Here's a link to their strat bodies!

Squier Affinity bodies are much thinner and I think they require shorter neck screws. Other than that not much difference. The Squier Standard Series is normal I believe, and I have a mid 90s chinese Squier Strat body that is alder and identical to Fender-licensed specs.

No they weren't, they were shit. The necks and hardware were bottom of the line stuff. The type of body I have came off a "Bullet Series" MIC which I had a black version of as my first guitar.
Today's Affinities and Bullets blow those things out of the water in every respect, and they're cheaper.

You might be. And unless the Korean is a pro-tone, they were also shit (except for the necks). Plywood bodies and shit hardware.

Pro-Tones were amazing. The late 80's plywood MIK Bullets were kinda cool, especially the modified tele shape. Not exactly high quality, but really fun little guitars.

Ok, I was going through my "closet" and found this kind of strat body -
I think I got it from You, and I wanted to ask how to measure the spacing and the neck pocket ? (please excuse me and my shaky hand)
