so, a while back i was debating to sell my SG Jr and get a squire carbonita.
i've since decided to keep the SG for now and buy another guitar as well.

but...not sure to still get the carbonita or a squire VM jaguar.

not owned a shortscale since my mustang and i do love my single coils.

what are peoples thoughts?

Get Squier Jag and Staytrem bridge.

Reckon you'd get far more for your money with the Jag. You've already got a killer tele; much as I love teles, there's very little reason to have two.

make sure you take a good look at the vm range. I wasn't impressed with the mustang

I'd go down this route as well, and would follow Noirie's advice with some kind of bridge saddle help. Pop in either an SD SSL3 or a splittable hot rail in the bridge.

Nothing new here to say, but I'd nonetheless econo-Jag it up if it were an option.

Fo' realsies. I played my old beat up Affinity Tele for the first time in months this week, it was a glorious moment. Gonna look into fixing it up and possibly making it giggable in the near future.

My VM Jag is probably my favourite guitar I've ever owned though, so basically Proggy needs to FOLLOW HIS HEART.

id go this route imo. fucking love my sonic blue vm jazzy. even more so now that I've changed the bridge for a TOM. play it more than my fender cp jag. and it's pretty much stock aside from that and the knobs. think it might need some wiring done but that's no big deal.

If it were me I'd get the surf green, though I guess if it were really me I would go for the sonic blue Jazzy.
