the missus got me this for christmas. i think she got it reduced cos of the cosmetic damage on the headstock. i dont give two fucks for such things, so its good by me. i dont like decoration for decoration's sake, and especially not on cheaper acoustic guitars; id rather the cost went on making it sound nice. which this does. im guessing the satin finish helps. anyway, i love it. plugged it into my jetcity20 for a bit too. sounds kinda like youd expect an acoustic guitar thru an electric amp to sound. havent recorded owt with it as yet, but i intend to at some point. i think the saddle and nut are bone, and they are both cut pretty much perfectly. it has a nice medium-low action, and intonates well too. im very happy indeed!

yea, bigger than youd expect from a smaller-than-dreadnaught sized guitar. it keeps getting louder the harder you hit it, it doesnt compress like some acoustics do. the only other acoustic ive experienced that does that as well as this was a an epiphone ej200 my dad had/has (i have barely spoke to him in years). the main thing tho, its real balanced sounding. very dry if that makes sense. goes smoothly into wherever you play it to go.

from their website...

By using very clean high grade mahogany, Canadian Red Cedar and scalloped Spruce bracing, Roadster guitars have a massive powerful sound signature and an elegant stripped down cosmetic which is popular with everyone.

i think sapele is a particularly pale 'hog derivative, so maybe the back n sides are that stuff. its all laminate, yet sounds really sensitive and resonant.

nice! I would just sand the rest of that logo off anyway, it'd look better without it.
