You should take part in this 7" vinyl design project - Secret 7"
All the info etc is on the site but to put it simply:
- There are 7 songs to choose from and design a sleeve for (including t.rex, black sabbath, massive attack..).
- 100 copies of each track are going to be printed (on 7" vinyl) and then displayed and sold at an exhibition. Every sleeve design is unique - all 700.
- People then buy a single based purely on the artwork - you don't include the band name/track title on the design, hence the name secret 7.
- You can submit art for just 1 track, or all 7. Then they will email you if you get chosen to be one of the 700....
There's a few technical images format things you need to follow.. image size, dpi, cmyk etc. But besides that you can do anything.
