Just thought I'd quote the whole thing to demonstrate the art of saying lots of words but not actually saying anything at all.
The DS-1X launches the famous BOSS distortion into a modern era of expression, delivering an unmatched level of performance for guitarists with an ear for tone. This next-generation stomp combines over 35 years of innovation in pedal design with the most advanced technologies, bringing you a completely new tonal experience that’s only possible with the legendary expertise of BOSS. Prepare to be amazed—the inspiring and ultra-responsive DS-1X will change your thinking about distortion pedals forever.

Eric, you clearly didn't read the following phrases :

"Unmatched performance" and "inspiring and ultra responsive".

What more do we need?

Not only that, that video was a big fuck 1 minute and 15 seconds of dumb worthless hype bullshit.

Just fucking say "we improved the ds1 by giving it separate treble and bass knobs so its (probably) not as shrill and we can charge you more"

I can't wait to have a more adaptable and versatile grunge pedal.

These new pedals are digital versions, so don't get too excited.

Judging by the video it sounds much, much better than the original.

I like it.

I thought we'd actually, well, hear it. But no. LOOK AT THIS PEDAL. LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT THIS AMP. NO, IT'S NOT EVEN PLUGGED INTO THE MAINS. BUT HEY, LOOK AT THIS PEDAL. LOOK AT IT.
Not reissued. Reborn
I'd rather they reissued it TBH.

is the OD1X be a revamped OS1 or OD3 though? i'd be very interested in seeing an OD3 with bass and treble control

dawsons has it for £120 which i guess means the DS1X will be similar http://www.dawsons.co.uk/boss-od-1x-ove ... wgodx1YAsg

if these pedals are standard pedals with extra bass and treble then meh for the price. if however they've started to steal and incorporate monte allums and keeley mods etc, then i'm listening

An OS1 has never been made, so my guess would be an OD1.

I think you'd have to be mad to spend £120 on that...
