Starts twelve seconds in. Anyone have a clue what's going on there?

Sounds like a Fuzz into the Filter Matrix setting of the Electric Mistress. I can get this sound with a Dist+ into the EM.

Listening in my phone so might be missing some detail in the sound... but my black Sovtek big muff makes that noise if you max the tone... sounds like a sky full of angry wasps.

Besides the distortion, I think I hear some kind of octave up effect as well as chorus.

According to one site, 1999.
But it could be any number of octave up/harmony effects like the Boss RPS-10 or Digitech Whammy.

Ok..yes but i can nail it. The EHX epitome i just got will get the chorus/octave in one pedal. It's the dirt/fuzz that i'm not sure of but i bet money i could get this sound..The epitome is a micro pog/holy grail/stereo electric mistress in one inclosure. It would be perfect i think. That's why i asked what year because the pedal hasn't been out long in one box but separately they've been around for a while..10 years probably

It sounds like there might be some gated reverb going on in the background too.

Here's the board of the Skywave guy (from an ILF thread).

Reckon you could cop that with the old "Wah sandwich" manoeuvre - distortion or fuzz before and after a wah. I favour muff (set it trebly to cop yer man's toans) > wah > rat.

Thanks for the help guys btw.
Seeing that photo makes me wish I still had my old Made by Mike feedback looper although these days am sans pedals so it'd be pretty useless.

We're lucky if we get urinary pucks and a dry spot to stand in.

hipsters..great. Always trying to be meta. George was the greatest beatle..Gilmour is a shit replacement for barrett..etc. yay. You can find me hanging out with the toilet attendant. I'd rather help him with his job then hear some hipster chatter about nothing..
