Seymour Duncan rails pickups for Stratocasters
I'm thinking of putting a meatier pickup in the bridge of my Strat. Does anyone have any experiences of the Seymour Duncan rails pickups, the Cool, Vintage and Hot Rails? I want something a bit meatier than a standard strat single coil, with a nice bottom end and string clarity but I don't want it to be super hot - i'm not looking to play the metalz.

ive got the kent armstrong hotrails in my duosonic, n theyre lovely. its like 13k or something, but you can just lower it a bit like i did (i prefer to keep my pickups low to avoid pulling on the strings), and get a bit of airyness out of it. im sure theres someone on here who uses em in a bass too.
also, theyre bout £40.

I have a Pre B1 in my Tele and I love it. I'll have to investigate the Chopper.Fakir Mustache wrote:I like DiMarzios. ProTrack sounds like a PAF and the Chopper sounds a bit like a P90, not exactly but it's pretty cool.
There's some Lace Sensors which get those sounds too, but I don't personally have any experience with Laces.
