I was hoping something more exciting, Gibson has used the name "Futura" for the Explorer prototype and for this Corvus thing.

Blue finish is nice, makes me want to sleep... And it's not even 6 PM.

im glad that there is another color choice besides maroon for the SG but there should be like 12 color choices for an SG besides maroon. a step in the right direction i guess,,, still kinda yawntastic

edit: ok i guess they did add a lot of finishes this year but all v "adult" colors lol

That SG looks nice, I approve of the colour. I'd only question that 'orrible inlay, the robot tuners and the placement of dat switch dere.

Stratosphere had a body/neck of the lp for sale, was going to buy it but the hippy-juice les paul came up and I bought that instead for $150 less.

The futuras have robo-tuners, other than that, they seem like pretty bfg's

Edit: didn't even notice that shitty 12th fret inlay, blech

You'd be amazed how similar the neck Humbucker From Hell sounds to a Jag neck pup. It's actually why I chose it.

the 12th fret inlay kinda barely blends in with the trapezoid inlay on the les paul, but it looks fucking balls on the sg with the dots. god damn it, gibson.
