tele sounding guitars
Do you guys know of any guitars that sound very similar to teles but dont have that painful body shape?

Well, I'm very skinny and bony and the tele always finds a way to bang against my hips or when i jump it hits the bottom of my rib cage.

The answer is: TELECASTER.ykk211 wrote:Do you guys know of any guitars that sound very similar to teles but dont have that painful body shape?
I don't think there's a guitar with a tone and sound similar to the Tele. Well, the Mustang has a great variety of pickups' combinations.
-Guitar: Squier VM Mustang, Squier CV '50 Duo Sonic;

-FXs: Dunlop Cry Baby GCB-95 Wah, Boss BD-2 Blues Drive, Proco RAT, Danelectro Cool Cat Tremolo, EH Small Clone, MUZA FD900, Bespeco Volume pedal.

Gibson Melody Maker, though it has sharp body edges too. If you want some twangy sound you can try modern Danelectro replicas with lipsticks. If you want more barking sound especially overdriven try Juniors with p90. I think the area between lipsticks and p90's is occupied by mini himbuckers, try some guitar with them, maybe cheap Epiphone Wilshire(not really great pickups though) or more expensive Gibson SG/Firebird/Les Paul 70's tribute.
