g and l asat classic

I just played a g and l asat classic. It was the best guitar I have ever played. Nothing else needs to be said.

The G&L ASAT Classic is a marvel of modern manufacturing. It holds it's own against an American Standard Tele but costs even more.

found it on craigslist for $400 with gig bag 3 sets of strings, a cable, a strap and string lube

Ah, that'll be from the import "Tribute" series which go for $500 new, fair dos. Was the one you played a Tribute too?
They used to be made in Korea, Indonesia now.

the one from craigslist was the one i played, I just didn't have the money. I played it in the lobby of some building, it was freezing but it still played great.

G&Ls are great, I have a USA S500 and its one of the best strats I've ever played. It just doesn't go out of tune and sounds awesome.

I have had at least 3 ASATs (2 tribute and 1 USA). Great guitars.

Had a USA s500 as well. another great guitar. Always wanted a comanchee

Different asat although I did find a used one for 300 on there.Rosewood fretboard but I dont really care about that

Just ordered a butterscotch blonde one for 300 from some guy on reverb. Will update with pics when i get it.
