A guitar I'm about to do a re-string and setup on.

Always knew they were quite nice, but never had a chance to try one for any period of time. Good British made guitar :)

I think they are thought of favourably on here so thought I'd share:

Looks nice! I have a GS 1 - slab type body and one pickup (bridge humbucker). It plays great but the neck is really flat and wide, so not fir everyone.

I am SO ripping off that nut/truss rod adjustment when I start scratch-building.

Who is M.H.M. and why do you have his prototype ???? Actually that could prove interesting provided M.H.M. actually is somebody ???

I want to like Gordon Smiths so bad, since they seem to be all about quality and affordable but damn it, they just look off to me. Something about the bodies just seem "too skinny" for me, esp. compared to the gibson-likes of this world.

Mine, a single cutaway GS1 is a decent thickness - it's basically a Les Paul Junior, but better made than the Gibson ones are now.

I quite like these, but don't quite like this one, if that makes sense. I suppose that's the point though, you can have a Gibsonish guitar the way you want it.
