edges after you drill holes in metal enclosures? it's like a little hook on a stick that you turn around in the hole and it cuts off all the excess metal

Sounds bloody terrifying!

Never had need for something like this. Could you use a file?

the girlfriend's dad has a few i've used once before. it's not heavy equipment or anything, it's about the size of a jeweller screwdriver.

it seemed safe enough and really quick to use, you just put the hook round the edge of the whole and spin it round a few times. leaves a beautifully smooth edge. but yeah i could use some warden files too i suppose.

i'll ask him and see what they're called. i thought you pedal pros would be using them!

Honestly when I was drilling boxes myself the edges were neat enough with a normal HSS drill bit not to need filing. Most of the boxes I've got now were CNC'd so they're proper neat.

Aye - just a file will be fine, if needed at all.

Y'all need to learn your tools. Besides the dude that posted the picture of the deburrer (because he wants a deburring tool). A rat tail file would work okay too. Burrs can get your fingers and make you bleed pretty good.
