Like the title says, I love my Eko ranger vi. I have never played an acoustic I like more, this is the reason I only have 1 acoustic.... that is until today. My lovely wife, feeling sorry for me due to my ebay woes picked me up a new guitar from a charity shop:
She phoned me up 'that old acoustic of yours what's it called?' I told her and she came home with one of these ^ 70s Eko Colorado £20
(sorted by the main man, cheers Dots)

nice guitar! Hows the action, and is the neck a baseball bat or not?
also, love the top of it, all striped and what not.

Hopefully it plays as good as it looks waiting on new strings as the ones that are on it are from the 1971 catalog as well.

for some reason i've always preferred cheaper acoustics as well. I've tended to shy away from vintage acoustics because (around here at least...) rarely do they ever play worth a damn, but i've been more into 300-400 dollar acoustics than 1300-1400 dollar acoustics. Must really be indicative that im an electric player

Just got a text from my mother in-law apparently my niece was running around my living room, and has broken the 'handle' of the guitar that was sitting against the wall. I'm assuming 'handle' means neck have to survey the damage when I get in from work.
Two guitars in a month...

Ah, shit. You're not having much luck at the moment. No chance by "handle" she meant "strap"?

Never though of that, but I doubt it apparently she jumped off the couch and fell on it.

Meant to update this the other day apparently the 'handle' in question was the bridge. But the damage is to the side of the guitar:
The finish has split in a few places and the back has come loose from the side with the impact.
