New(ish) guitar day - Baja Telecaster

So a guy from gumtree came round to pick up my VM Mustang last week and ended up leaving with that and my butterscotch Jazzmaster special. This left me with no long scale guitar. I thought it'd be better to put the money into getting one great 25.5" scale guitar. This arrived today from Stuart (thanks for the great deal) :
First Impressions : Neck is fucking HUGE. I've been playing a Japanese Mustang as my main guitar for nearly a year and occasionally the afore mentioned Jazzy. I like it though, it's just going to take some getting used to. It looks and sounds amazing though, I've wanted one of these since they first came out and I don't have my old plywood Squier telecaster any more. The S1 (out of phase) stuff isn't as good as it sounds when used on a Mustang I don't think, but it's not something I use, just an observation. Series sounds great and the rest sounds like a really nice, ordinary telecaster. It went to practice with me yesterday and held up the entire time. I've given it a set up and it plays great.

That's lovely. That weird out of phase S1 setting sounds amazing when used with an octave fuzz.

It was great value for sure! I guess it just feels big because I've been playing Mustangs for ages and they're really slinky. I even thought the neck on my VM Jag was "a little chunky", how wrong I was.

Just a question. Does anyone actually know how to properly intonate a three saddle bridge? It's fucking hard, I'd switch the bridge to something not string through so you can put a trem on if you wants.

A TREM ON A TELE = YOU MISSED THE POINT ENTIRELY
You can intonate a 3 saddle no problem up to like fret 20 with some patience. If you're playing above that, you should trade in your tele and go get something pointier.

Trem cuz I just like having as many options as possible, I never really use them I just have them there in case, but I can't intonate a 3 saddle for my life, every time I intonate one string the other one gets all messed up.
