Do you remember the Les Paul Studio Goth I got from my Uncle's estate? Well here it is in case you forgot.

A while back I put some new pickups in my Hondo LP. Specifically an SD 59 in the bridge and a GFS Mean90 in the neck. Made the guitar sound *choice*.

Thought I had a pic of the mod[d]. I guess not.

In any case, I put the old pickups back in the Hondo and put the SD and GFS into the Gibson. I must say I like the result, both visually and sonically. Probably my favorite pickup combo (S-H) and my two favorite pickups to use for it.

Tell me that doesn't look sweet.

Looks the business, Alan Sparhawk from Low uses the p90 + humbucker combo and has one of my favorite guitar tones.

I put a Gibson P94 in the neck, and a SD Invader in the bridge of my LP Goth. Sounds great.

Great job on the changes. I would say change the knobs to finish the job. I'm not sure what would look best but my first thought would be Mustang knobs, there black and one white to set off the zebra pickup.

Y'know James, now that you mention it, I wonder if Bronco knobs might be a good choice? Add some more grey to the proceedings perhaps?
