'Desktop' amps
MBM pedals has been relocated under the stairs and my mustang I doesn't fit
I need a small solution for testing boards and pedals
Currently I'm aware of :
Fender Electra
Fender ' 57 twin mini amp
Marshall micro stack
Some kind of headphone amp to put after a Harley Benton American sound and before headphones
Ideally the amp would have a headphone socket but not essential
Something that could take a pedal (duh)
Any experience with the above or other recommendations?
Size is the chief factor here

I have a fender mustang 1. Its small and light, has a headphone jack and sounds pretty decent. Its solid state if thats kewl.

I can't suggest anything helpful. Most pedals sound the same with these little amps, especially if they're awful digital abominations like the Mustang I. If it's just a matter of checking if the thing turns off and on and that the controls do something, then maybe one of those Orange Crush things. Don't you have a vintage Champ? That's a good pedal testing amp. I use my Musicmaster Bass amp for the testing. Turn it on and off a hundred times a day, poor thing.

Doesn't take pedals well and is a faff - fine on it's own but crap with pedals
The mustang I takes pedals great with the Harry Benton American sound tech 21 clone in line but without not so much
Just can't fit the amp down under the stairs with my desk and the washing machine, it's just too big
Sold my champ to Chris a while back
So far I'm thinking Greta
Orange micro crush... Is actually a usable little amp... Has teh rock tonez, I love mine (use an adapter rather than a battery).
