Better with rope braid, direct solder, or other? I am guessing an braid will water down circuit. Better in english o espanol?

Just use a capacitor. The weird bit of it is that you still lose bass as you turn down the volume, but not treble. So lower volume settings get thinner.

I make my treble-bleeds "Duncan" style, and have never run into any reliability issues.

Electronically, the resistor will be unnecessary if you use an appropriate value of capacitance.
