What do you think? It is possible to get the Fender bronco Tone with another guitar? I dont know if its because og Alder vs. Poplar, but i think a mustang sounds different.

You'll need a similar style bridge, coupled with the 24" scale and a bridge pickup the same distance from the bridge. If you're playing through an amp, everything else is irrelevant. EVERYTHING

Okay, but the Mustang has all of it but the bridge. And i think it sounds different... .

Mustang also has 2 pickups, rather than 1, which may affect the magnetic pull on the string as it approaches the 2-octave node.

If you're looking for a bronco bridge, check ebay. It's gonna be a bit pricey and they don't come up very often, but if you're willing to wait and spend a bit, they do exist.

I always thought a Bronco and a Mustang were close (However with that said I lioke the Bronco bridge better ) or maybe a Bronco and a Musicmaster ?

They are pretty close. They are definitely in the same neighborhood, even the same street. The Bronco has this metallic resonance to it. It's very subtle but you can hear it. I prefer the Bronco as well. I just prefer the subtle vibrato to the dive bomb of the Mustang, though I am learning to appreciate it as well.

On a Mustang, the neck pickup is nowhere near the 2nd octave node. That's one of my favorite things about it. You can still get all the usual harmonics.

the bridge is the only factor that would make them sound noticeably different, i'd say. i've compared mustangs to my duo II and the latter is less plinky sounding and has a bit more sustain.
