Think you guys have got Venus XIIs. Do any of you also have a Fender Strat/Tele hardcase? e.g. like these ones?

Just wondered if the Venus will fit in them. Mine came with an unbranded hardcase but it's a bit damaged so I wanted to get a replacement but didn't really want to lug the guitar to the shops.

Doesn't have to be a Fender case but just wondered if it would fit in a case designed for a Strat or Tele (there are loads of them about and they're generally much cheaper than Jag/Jazzy cases).

Pretty positive it will work. It fits in my reissue mustang case.

Thanks Punkacc9. Mustang's are a little bit longer than Strats aren't they?

I'd rather get a Strat case as they seem to be a lot cheaper than Mustang ones. Think I'll risk it. If it doesn't fit the Venus, and for any reason I cannot return it, then I'm sure it'll fit my Mustang Special.

It'll fit. I'm pretty positive. As long as it's not shaped for a strat. Mustangs are smaller than strats body wise and I have had a mustang in a strat case before.

I keep mine in the ugliest coffin case that came free with a jazzmaster I bought online.

Because it's that angsty.
