i've had bad luck getting a WRHB guard so I got impatient and finished this project with regular bumfuckers

Looks good. If you ever want another go at it withe the widerangers, I have the template made and ready to go. Just need a blank of your choosing.

Yeah, that looks great. Is there another thread on this project?
I'm assuming those are some sort of PAFs. What about neck/body?
I would love to hear what this thing sounds like. I'm not a fan of widerangers myself, so I actually love this j-blaster as an alternative to the Lee Ranaldo.

the pups are "fender hot alnico humbuckers" from a blacktop strat that I loved the sound of but rebuilt as a vintagey strat for the guitarist in my band
this has a different bridge and slightly different pickup spacing but there are tons of videos that show the approximate tonez just search "blacktop strat"

also: its a blacktop jm neck and jagmaster body refinished twice with rattlecan so it chips-- i mean relics-- pretty easily
