Electronics guys: YR MY ONLY HOPE

Post by Doog »

Hey solderjockeys, I need some help!

I'm looking at making an Arduino-based 'expression sequencer', to allow me to do nifty time-based things on my Line 6 M9.

In essence, the Arduino will just be switching which of 8 different potentiometers (didn't wanna do down the digital pot route) the M9's expression pedal input is hooked up to, much like the EHX 8 Step Program but for cheaps, allowing me to get some of my Arduino chops back up.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Is this something I can do with shift registers?

Looks like this guy has done it, but with zero information supplied :/

Thanks all!

Can you not...

Read the value from the selected analog pot. Set a single digital pot (Tayda has them cheap) which is always connected to the expression input, to a corresponding value.
