Thanks. I did the amber shellac tint prior to lacquer.
I just applied the coats to achieve the desired tint then lacquered.
I love the color. I call it "caramel."

wow, that's actually the first time I've seen a mustang in this color. Surf green is GOAT fender color.

Really nice. Fender custom shop also made some in that finish, that really expensive NAMM series they made 1 or 2 years ago, but it probably looks nicer with the mint guard.
1968 is also not a very common year for Mustangs, most were '65 or '66, '69 and later had the cut out contours.
