that is cool looking, but what's up with the bridge? is it just strings to a clam shell stop or is there something under there?

I made a thread 3 years ago about Eli "Paperboy" Reed's electrified Silvertone 604
Eli wrote in 2010: "My new (old) toy. Put an old kay pickup in to my Silvertone acoustic that I bought at a thrift store for $10. Sounds awesome!"

I just saw this! The guitarist in a band I play in plays one of these. I really like how it sounds. He treats it like shit though, and the pickguard is slowly disintegrating.

That K-300 must be a latter model made after Valco bought Kay. Maybe one of the "floorsweep" guitars made from leftover parts.
Eli has alot of cool old guitars This one looks like an Epiphone Century from around 1961(?).
