I read this article and it sounds like something id like to try. Ive got a tele deluxe with two volume and two tone controls. Basically this article explains that you can make 1 tone a master tone and use the other knob as a blend pot to turn down one of the coils in a humbucker. I want to apply it to the neck pickup so i can turn it from full on humbucker down to just the top coil and all points in between. Im not great at understanding guitar electronics but if anyone can help explain this in simpler terms on what needs to be wired where or offer any insight im sure i could pull rhis off. Has anyone tried this before or understand thr basic idea in terms of wiring? Heres the address to the article im talking about.
