66 Jag project - finished!

I bought a 66 Jag body, finished and relic'd by Danocaster in ice blue metallic earlier this year and I've been collecting parts since then, I picked up a 60s guard, 63 trem and plates, a 65 slab board neck from a Duo Sonic/Musicmaster in A width with a Jag decal already added, and a set of vintage knobs. I wasn't worried about having vintage pickups, so when a set of Jess Loureiro Jag pickups came up along with both sets of pots and some cloth wiring, I had everything to put it together.

I bit the bullet and got on with my least favourite job, the wiring.

And here it is done. It needs a trem arm, and the Staytrem on there is borrowed from another of my guitars and is the wrong radius - I think I'll put a Mastery on in time. It plays beautifully and I'm very pleased with it.

I was slightly worried it would be too skinny, but although it is narrow at the nut, it's fairly thick by modern standards.
