I suppose the good news is that no matter what you decide the choice would be a wise one.
I dunno whether you can do palm mutes and whatnot with the Russian, but transistor muffs are *a little* more versatile in my experience...more random and a little more transparent (by Muff standards, anyway), but there's something about the IC circuit that throws up this wonderfully thick fuzzy blanket of awesome. It's its own thing and no other pedal combo will give you exactly the same feeling. That's purely based on how I use them though.
The trouble really is that fuzzes in general are sooo fussy with what amp you're using at the time. It might accentuate all the wrong frequencies while another will be perfect and you won't want to put your guitar down for the rest of the day. What amp are you using these with, and what style are playing?
Do you already own both options? If so go with what works best for you. However, if it's a question of board space i'd go with the Green Muff/Black Secret but if it's a power supply issue i'd go with the Dreambox.
If it was me though I would go with the Green Muff/Black Secret option.
At home, I tend to use a model of a Fender Deluxe or my JMP-1 into a Marshall EL34/34 power amp. Out and about it tends to be the Fender model into the FX return of whatever amp is around which provides a pretty consistent sound. I tend to play a punk kind of rock in a more/louder is always better style.

Trewth. I always think I have enough dirt pedals and then....

I'm kind of thinking that might be the case. I've been using the Green Muff/Black Secret for a while but I think it's time for a change for practice next week.
