I don't know why I'm excited about this but I am. Put a low bid in on eBay to "watch" it and £35 later it's on my ironing board.

looks huge, 35 quid the price or the shipping you paid for it?

could be a good mixer, what is it, 2 aux sends, 3 band eq and pan per channel?

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

It's actually pretty small - 6U rack. And surprisingly light. It was a collect job so postage was nil - apart from having my mate drive it up from Bath but he had some shit at my place to collect anyway.

16 stereo input channels, 4 aux sends (switchable in pairs), 3-band eq - full stats here.

You should be excited, really. Endlessly useful bit of kit to own.

I did enjoy zeroing all the knobs last night and most have a satisfying centre dent too.

What a RESULT!

I guess it didn't garner much interest because it only has two XLR/phantom power inputs and doesn't have slider faders, but the functionality's there; the other mic inputs are balanced on tip-and-ring jacks, so fine for dynamic mics etc.

I don't know why it went so cheap - one sold yesterday for £195. Just lucky I guess.

It's a line mixer so it shouldn't really have any mic preamps - the two you get are a bit of a bonus.

i like having rackmount mixers for general use. i've got an old BiAmp brand one that i used for years.
