I would absolutely dig this as a production instrument, but, as a one-off, yeah, the price is ridiculous. It has some pretty sweet features, and I imagine, has a pretty interesting sound.

Honestly playing that thing would be a punishment. Here bass-guy, this thing weighs a ton and no one will hear you because we've fitted Tele neck pickups for some stupid reason.... GOOD LUCK!

Pfft, I've heard plenty (well, like 5) of fine sounding Dano basses with lipsticks.

It used to be the electric bass sound of music before Leo Fender really nailed the P-Bass design.
