Deluxe Big Muff

Has anyone noticed this? Also, there's a nano version of the Bass/Russian Big Muff, which is tempting, like a hot young girl spreadeagled on a discarded mattress in a secluded wasteground sort of way.

Also, this isn't new, is it? It's just been changed to green instead of red. Why?

There was a thread on here about the Deluxe a short while back, but I mainly remember that because I inadvertantly came across as a jerk over being disappointed that it was based on the RI circuit (it's super-versatile and a cool thing otherwise though).

The other two are I'm guessing just two old faves being given an XO enclosure. I don't recall EHX making a fuss about that, but they're cool enough to be worth mentioning I would've thought. I can't think of a disadvantage to the XO to be honest. It's compact, it's solid...better than the old bent steel efforts, unless you have a particular 'thing' for old-school aesthetics.

EDIT: the colour change for the Muff Overdrive is odd though. I can't think of any particular reason why they'd want to change it either.

Ah, okay, I wasn't sure. I remember the deluxe bass big muff but not the deluxe muff.

The Nano Bass doesn't have the dry and the effect out, just a switch, which will give you equal dry and effect.

The nano has been green for a while now. Sounds like shit too.

Bass Big Muff has that boosted bass mode that I NEED IN MY LIFE.

the Nano one is basically a dry/notdry rooskie muff

Sounds cool to me in the demos. Like a less bassy Big Muff.

The Muff overdrive is pretty lame.

I too am interested in ordering a large EHX pedal over the internet in a way that evokes shagging a vagrant at the dump, that sounds kurdtz as fuck.

I meant the muff OD nano, not the nano bass muff or this new deluxe.

The bass big muff is a really good pedal, as is the deluxe version. I need to get the deluxe one and put it on my board.

The mids thing is definitely true though, I wish my IC had a mid control. It's not as bad as people make out but when I've played live recently the sound guy has just told me to "raise the volume" to not get as lost in the mix. Studio it's not really a problem.

I have that. It's fun, but it doesn't get to live on my pedalboard.
