Yes, I've seen other demos by him, great player.

Sounds quite full for a single pickup. I guess because it's in the middle.

This and I guess the pickup construction itself. There are good examples of single coils that sound full and bright at the same time like Rickenbacker toasters(higains), lipsticks and P90's(though extremely fat even barking sound when overdriven).

you could get vintage bobkats (harmony, airline, silvertone) for the price of those new anyday.

saw this really nice tuxedo bobkat for 450 a while back. (still went with the dano/silvertone tho)
