I forget, are those Super 6 amps 100 watts? That's pretty cool. I've always liked 1x15 combos, but I'll bet with the JBL that thing is incredibly bright sounding.

I've got a 1x15 JBL open-back cab, when I was rhythm guitarist the lead guitarist always told me it sounded rubbish - too middly.

The Fender Super Six is just a Twin Reverb with 6 speakers.

6x10 iirc
That seems like a really high price for that amp, silverface twins seem to be dropping in value as of late.

I thought it might be. So, only 45 watts? Why didn't the guy just get a Pro Reverb instead of chopping up a Super 6? That seems like a lot of unnecessary work.

The Twin Reverb is 85-100 watts. Cutting down on the number of speakers does not affect wattage.
