You most definitely should.

Tip about the final minutes of bidding. Go ahead and set up your automatic bid to the absolute MOST you would pay for that guitar. This way, you won't scramble to one-up people with 10 seconds left to bid.

Also, TIP, delete this post to eliminate some community competition.

They will be fine maneee.

I've had guitars with poor pickups that I had to make do with until my budget was right. It actually works out well because you'll gain versatility in "dialing".

you're supposed to leave it up there and say you're dibsing it so no other fucker bids on it. every shortscale nerd has jazzmaster saved searches on ebay so they're going to find it (sorry to be the one to let you know). you need to stake your claim. people aren't arseholes and will respect the dibs if you're legit going for it.
