The question is in the title. Read about incompatibilities with certain Fender parts. Anyone know/tried doing this?

Japanese, and some chinese necks are wider at the heel than US and Mexico, there is about 1mm in it.

I tried to put a Jagstang neck (now owned by Fran, I think) onto a Squier Mustang body and it was too wide at the heel. I think the Squier is made to "USA spec".
