i had one of the earlier ones for a while, it wasn't too bad, nice cleans, very loud, very heavy tho. actually kinda miss it (but would rather have dat blues jr). had to sell it when i got my silvertone though, never got used after i got the silvertone grounded. definitely a great amp to gig with.
very cool though!

i've also heard these amps sound alot nicer if you change out that stock speaker too, idk if the speaker in the 3 was improved though.

I cant make the comparison from the two to the three, but ive heard the same thing about the speaker. Im satisfied with how it sounds for now, but I may change it in the future.
Its really loud which is great except I was trying to play when my sister was sleeping last night, so that didnt turn out well.

Get a folding trolley to carry it around. I did that for my amp and it's the best thing I ever did. Bass-player keeps calling me a pussy but that's because he's a dick and doesn't even have his own amp.

Yeah, thats probably a good idea. Im also gonna put handles on the side of the amp cuz top handles suck.

Trolley + bungee chords is how me and my friends cart our amps around the city without a car. Makes life so easy!

I had an older model HRD. Drive channel was a pile of crap, but the cleans were great and improved hugely once I put a Vintage 30 speaker in it.

I have a HRD 212. Yeah , the dirties used to suck till I had an amp guy look at it and do some tuning. Now it's pretty frickin sweet. Only issue that still exists is the reverb only works in the dirty channels. Good amps but tempremental. Overall a great amp. The Deluxe is great. In fact without the extra wattage and extra speaker in some cases sounds better.
