Anyone bought any pickups from them? they seem to do some cool options, and I'm looking foe some new pickups for me blacktop Tele.

My bandmate bought
one of these for the neck of his Les Paul. Loved it! Reasonably priced, too.

That's what I was looking at a matched set of those, trying for this vibe...

I've got his pickups in all four of my guitars: Jaguar, Mustang, Jazzmaster and Starcaster with WRHBs. Obviously I think they're excellent!

Had a read through as many reviews as possible and a few youtube videos, and decided to order a set... 16 days and counting.

16 days? Damn he is getting super busy.
I have nothing but praise for Marc at mojopickups. Most of my guitars have his pickups.
They are fucking awesome and he is a top fella to deal with. I highly recommend him

Yeah, I was quoted 14 days for my WRHBs, but they arrived in half that time.

Mine are going in me Tele, but I'm still trying to find somewhere to get a Tele custom style pickguard that'll fit the reversed control plate lay out of the black top.

Are you looking for more or less power? I've never done a pickup swap to get less power in my life.

They'll actually have slightly less power, but it's the tone I'm after. Power isn't everything my young padawan.

Got the pickups today they look the business, can I ask a quick (and probably daft) question. I've never had a pickup with only one wire, am I right in thinking that means the pickups don't have / need a ground wire and just needs soldered to the lugs on the pickup selector?

That would be my guess. Marc @ mojo will confirm though. Email him

Aye, cheers... just got the same answer from Marc at Mojo, I hadn't considered the braid to be anything more than shielding.
You live and learn eh...
