Maddie has been playing her classical 3/4 for a year now & I'm toying with getting her a similar sized electric. Has anyone had any experiences with the squier affinity or epiphone 3/4? Both great prices. Any others to consider (needs to be about £100)

I played the Squier Strat Mini in the shop and quite liked it.
(I've currently loaned out to a colleague the short scale Strat that The Burbz gave me otherwise I'd offer to loan you that for a bit. When do you need it?)

Harley Benton do a mini strat for cheapz:

Can't vouch for it's quality.

I think Robroe bought a small guitar for his son. Seem to remember him posting about it as I want to pick something similar up for Little Miss BB when she's a bit bigger.

Thanks Nick, I'm in no rush. It's on the back of a conversation with maddie last night where we were listening to the bbc rock show.

check out the ibanez mikro. I like them because they have a bit wider fret board and are usually very nice.

given she is playing a classical guitar which for a 3/4 guitar is a nice deep neck with a wide flat fretboard she might find the transition back and forth easier.
