I can take just about any color combo except for Red and black on guitars. It reminds me of my dad's fucking peavey raptor or whatever he played in the 80s, before he told my mom to go te hell and started buying fenders again.

i don;t like that red thats on the screen. the satin read of whatever it looks like. i like datoka, or maybe even fiesta. red is not a bad color, and if you deside you dont like black anymore well guess what.
you can get yourself a new pg and its a whole new look.
go with you first instinct man, it will work.

I'm actually liking the red and black. I'm getting a black pickguard for my fiesta Jag-Stang for that very reason.

I don't think the red and black is that great a combination. Maybe like Doog said, a bit more win red. Definatly just make sure it looks sweet to your eyes.
