It's a modified Musicmaster or Duo Sonic II.

Apart from the neck, obviously.

I vaguely remember that guitar.
I really dislike p-rail pickups tho. Bland city.

I saw this on Reverb. It was actually priced reasonably too.

Think it's just a tarted up Mustang Pawnshop Special, the neck is certainly from one and it looks to have the weird snub-ended body shape from one too.

That's like saying if I put a Jaguar neck on a flying v body the guitar is a Jaguar.

My guess is Pawn Shop Mustang neck and pickguard, body and bridge from an old MM/Duo.
Looks endlessly better than how Fender made the PS Mustang, whatever it's made from.

The string spacing is ruinous due to the bridge. The strings are at the edge of the fretboard and don't align with the polepieces of the prails. Not sure about the script font on the headstock either.

Yeah this isn't the mustang I was thinking of.

The script font is the worse, based on the picture it makes the B string go completely out of tune, especially when bending a string with your pointer finger at the 14th and 15th frets (but not so much on the 16th fret, where it plays completely in tune, especially if you play it with your pinky).
Also, they used the worst possible gauge and make of strings, as should be obvious to anyone looking at that picture.

Don't care if it's a mustang, duosonic II or something else. I like it very much.
