Maybe it was already discussed and I stupidly missed it, but it's just wow

I sort of expect that too. That's maybe not necessarily a bad thing, I love my Mean-90s but I wish they'd stop all the mojo shite descriptions and just say it's a strat pickup that sounds like something else and is in a fancy case.

My co-guitarist had a gold foil in the neck of his Epi Les Paul before he smashed that guitar to pieces at a gig. It sounded ace, really clear and articulate. My favourite part was that it was slightly microphonic, so you could scream into it and make KOOL SONDS.

The part of you that noticed they're being sold by Guitar Fetish? I feel ya.

They're just P90s and buckers as usual, but having used GFS P90s and buckers a few times to great success I'd still (and probably will at some point) hit it. These look bad-ass and koo.

I didn't get on the WHRB or Filtertron band wagon but I'm enjoying the sounds on the Gold foil cart.

2015: Lipsticks (the guitar world is going to look like a pack of randy dogs)

having owned microphonic mij jag pickups - NOPE

i love the look, but i'd like to see how the construction and sound differs from the originals. the thought of making a ry cooder-esque slide guitar has been gnawing at me for a while now

Don't like and I love the old DeArmond and Teisco pickups.
