Got a 2008 Jagmaster and in the moment I´m planning what to mod..In 2011, I had an older ( year 2000 ?) Jagmaster which I refinished, but wasnt very pleased because of the standard 25,5 scale of it..

pre-slotted brass nut installed..
the acoustic sound is much louder, I can feel the vibrations in the trem now, nice..
the radius isnt perfect and because of that the action is still to high..brasssss is not easy to cut when it should be perfect..

when I use the trem the strings make funny noise in the brass nut..maybe I´m going to bone nut instead..

I will install a Wilkinson bridge, even it its string spacing isnt the perfect one, but I didnt want to buy the GFS one, which would be delivered in some weeks I guess ;)

want to install this Wilkinson trem..much better..steel saddles, massive steel block and plug in trem arm..

Though the string spacing isnt the 52,5 one but 54 this wont be an issue, I will have to bore at least one screw hole new..

here somebody who installed the Wilkinson on his Jag..

I also like white knobs and covers. Love the Wilkinson bridge. Hate the traditional Strat bridge.

did a quick mockup with the p90s on a cheap black foam plate..
sounds niiiiice..much more responsive and pearly..the Wilkinson is nearly a drop in replacement, just the steel block sticks a bit out in the back..
its an iffy job to place the p90s correctly so that the polepieces line up..

Just type "white p90 covers" into eBay, super cheap and non-elusive ones from China abound.

thanks, maybe I´l do white covers/ knobs..at the moment I installed Fender Blackface knobs..looks great with black 8) 8)

I just modified the original Jag pickguard, I cut the pickup holes a bit then sprayed it black..not perfectly, but.. fook..
it SOUNDS GOOD!

the knob´s new placement near the bridge p90 is much better for playing..more like a jazzmaster
