That's an MIK-style Epi cover, my G-400 and LP Custom's are both like that. They started putting the model names on the Chinese ones in the early 2000s.

Those Fender style guitars and basses with the Coronet-style batwing heads Epi made back in the 80s/90s were great. I'd take one over an MIM Standard anyday because their necks aren't nearly as shite.

It's not a 2014 model, in case that wasn't obvious. Explorer headstock and serial number dates it to 1994. (The seller probably didn't realize that first digit is a T, not a 1.) Made by Samick, and they are actually fantastic guitars if you like big frets and Gibson-y neck profiles. Sure as hell ain't worth $500, though.

Edit: Just looked up prices on eBay and WTF, they really are worth $400-500. There was a Strat copy too, the S-310, and those are far more common.

Was going to say this, REALLY wanted one of these back then but had to make do with a hohner.

The ones with solid finishes and neck single coils are worth less. Those also have plywood bodies.
