Blobby hell that's nice!
Have Gibson always used the non slot tuners? If not, I just don't get why modern guitars have dispensed with them in favour of the horizontal type. I should know the proper terms but alas. Love those pegs though.

I spent a lot of time actively hating these as a fan of full bodied semihollows.
But I'm starting to come around, it does look tidy and fun.

I'll let you know when i stop playing it. It's a 58 style neck and feels just right in the hand.

It is goots, 2011 Gibson custom shop 339.
I found it online at a store that's about 30-40 mins away from where I live called guitars 4 U.
Great little store, own by one bloke who's been in the trade for a number of years. To the back of the store is where all the tasty gems like this are. Felt like I was sat in someone's living room but with loads of guitars. Had a cuppa and put it through it's paces. Proper fell in love with the sound, lower output paf style pickups and responds so well on the volume for Cleaning up the sound. It was setup with 10's but the guy there setup up there and then with 11's before I walked out. Even chucked 4 set of d'addarios.
I've not put it down all day.

Always loved cherry ESs. Just something really classy about them.
Glad to hear you are enjoying it too.

Well done, Rob!
Stoked to hear that it really fits the bill, and sounds like it was a delight to purchase as well.
